About

The Retributioners is about a woman's quest to seek validation and revenge on everything from ex-boyfriends, former friends, people who stole her taxi, and everything in between.

Creators & Crew

Stephanie Faith Scott (Creator/Producer/Co-editor/Star)

Stephanie Faith Scott was born in Flushing, Queens, and grew up in a small two-bedroom apartment directly across the street from Queens College. After graduating from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, she attended SUNY Albany, where she studied sociology, theater, and business administration. Though acting was always in the cards, Stephanie followed up on other career interests as well, traveling to SUNY Buffalo, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology. She then returned to New York City where she supported herself in a full-time job, while studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Stephanie performed in leading and supporting roles in off-off-Broadway plays, studied improvisation at The Second City Training Center in New York, studied Shakespeare with Actors Shakespeare Company, and won both leading and supporting roles in short films. In 2007, she acted in her first independent feature film, The Video Guys. Other great film roles include 'Tis the Secret, Plus, The Fool: Episode 60, Nineteenth, and S&M Queen for a Day. Occasionally you will see her as a nurse on All My Children, or on Saturday Night Live doing something bizarre in a sketch.

On November 8, 2003, Stephanie married Eric Rasmussen, a novelist, screenwriter, and musician. They currently live in Manhattan, where they produce The Retributioners. They fight a lot during the editing process, but they love each other anyway.

Krystal Bowden (Production Assistant)

Krystal Bowden did not hand in her bio in time for the launch of this website.  So, Stephanie is going to have to make it up.  Well, she's a really great assistant.  She's always on time, and always very proactive and helpful.  She does things like get everyone breakfast when we shoot at 8am, and she'll hold our dinky slate for the camera.  She'll stand in for the actors, hold stuff, drag stuff, move furniture around, and act as our monitor during auditions.   She went to Cornell University where she studied theatre and communications.  Anything you want to add, Krystal?
